About you Child Care At Michelle's Daycare I strive to help children grow and learn in a safe, loving and fun environment. I use the skills I have learned as a parent and licensed provider to fill each day with numerous teachable moments within our everyday routines, tasks and play for each child at their stage of cognitive and social/emotional development. I encourage kindness, respect, personal responsibility, and try to instill self confidence and a love of learning in each child. I feel children learn great things through free and directed play and I supplement this learning with Funshine Express Curriculum along with my large collection of books/games/puzzles, art/craft supplies, and toys. Open communication is very important to me and I provide daily reports for nonverbal children and a weekly newsletter to all the families in my care. I am also a STAR rated member of Parent Aware. My program is unique because of my close communication with parents and loving relationship with the children I care for. By working together we can help each child to be happy and healthy little individuals as they enter kindergarten and beyond.
