8:00am-10:00am Active Supervision: A Developmental Perspective
Meets the Family Child Care provider annual supervision training requirement. This training curriculum will address best practices of active supervision in a family child care setting; describe the way in which supervision is impacted by a child’s development; explain characteristics typically associated with differing levels of development and their impact on supervision.

10:15am- 12:15pm Love and Logic® Teaching Kids to Listen…the First Time
Learn simple techniques to help children learn to listen without resorting to lectures or warnings. Discuss the dangers of using repeated warnings and reminders with children. Explore and practice strategies to support children in making choices that lead to success.

- Doors open at 7:30am for registration.
